What is DINA?

The Development Information Network of Arkansas (DINA) is a project of the Institute for Economic Advancement at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The IEA's mission is to support statewide economic development activities through research, information, service, training, and education.

DINA is managed by the IEA Web Support Team, a full-service content provider that serves the needs of the economic, industrial, and community development organizations within Arkansas. DINA provides demonstrations of and education about new technology, web page construction, storage, and maintenance for communities and institutions.

DINA includes information about the state of Arkansas, its cities, utilities, universities, and nonprofit organizations involved in the economic development efforts for the state. Wherever possible, information about the state is brought to you directly via the World Wide Web. Information may also be obtained by corresponding with the representative of each organization listed.

DINA was launched in October 1995 at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas Annual Meeting. Since that time, DINA has grown to an economic development alliance that joins over twenty-five communities and over twenty economic development organizations throughout Arkansas.
