What is DINA?
The Development Information Network of Arkansas (DINA) is a compendium of
economic development resources throughout the state of Arkansas. It includes
information about the state of Arkansas, its cities, utilities, universities, and
nonprofit organizations involved in the economic development efforts for the
state. Wherever possible, information about the state is brought to you directly
via the World Wide Web. Information may also be obtained by corresponding with
the representative of each organization listed.
DINA is a project of the Research Group of Institute for Economic Advancement (IEA)
at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The IEA was founded in 1959 to promote
the economic development of the State of Arkansas.
DINA was launched in October 1995 at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and
Associated Industries of Arkansas Annual Meeting. Since that time, DINA has grown to
an economic development alliance that joins over twenty cities and over fifteen
economic development organizations throughout Arkansas.

Why Can I Not Print Your Data Tables On My Printer?
This is probably the single most frequent question that we receive in all of our
mail. Including information that is presented in a table is always difficult within
the guidelines of HTML 2.0. When these tables are created, they are printed out using
a normal fixed-width font at 12 point type. This allows the pages to be displayed both
on the screen and on a printed page.
This is how to rectify this situation.
- Change your printer settings to landscape (11" wide and 8.5" tall) rather than portrait
(8.5" wide and 11" tall). This is typically found under the Page Setup command under the File menu.
- Change your fixed-width font within your web browser to a font such as Courier 10 point.
This should allow you to print the page normally.
How do I get my company in your Business Listings?

Another one of the frequent questions that we get asked is can we help users contact
other users. This is one that we have to refer to some of the major databases around the
country. So in order to locate another person, we suggest you try:
Where can I find information on my ancestors?
This is another question that we receive on a frequent basis. However, the best help that
we can give is our historic census data which is generally not of much help. So to find this
information, we suggest that you contact the County Courthouse or County Clerk of the county
in which the person you are looking for was born.
